Gösta Wessel

Winner of the 2023 Carl Christensens och Maria Ekmans Stiftelses pris till förtjänstfulla konstnärer. Gösta Wessel studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm in the seventies, since then he’s created public art, taught, and conducted artistic research in his role as a professor at Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts and Design. His own artistic inquiry has always continued in parallel.
