About the artists
Norrtälje konsthalls Christmas Salon 2017 is a collaboration with Norrtälje art association. The Christmas Salon 2017 is divided in two exhibitions with over 140 participants. The jury consist of Ingela Hermansson, curator at Konsthall Märsta, and Patrik Steorn, Curator at Thielska Galleriet. Together they made a selection of all the candidates applications and made a "Jury rated exhibition" and the "Salon of the refused". The two exhibitions therefore presents art created by professionals and amateurs, old and young, representing high and low, paintings, embroidery, sculptures and much more.
