RETROSPEKTIV UTSTÄLLNING – 1960 – 2016

This artist is a widely beloved ceramic and glassware designer and her distinctive playful and colourful style is familiar to many. Particularly wellknown are her vases and bowls in glass with tulip patterns and images of women, produced by Kosta Boda. This show puts on display a number of her designs. Her long and diverse career includes painting, textiles, and designs on Easter eggs. Hydman Vallien was born in Stockholm in 1938, in the 1960s she left the capital for a position with a glassworks in Småland where she still lives and works today.
