A large canvas, 190 x 141 cm, entitled Aftermath Interior shows a room with a checked floor. At first sight it looks quite neat. There’s a chair standing on its four legs in the front and a vase on top of the piano. But towards the back of the image things seem a bit out of sync. Are those birches taken from an image of tree trunks or is it a hole in the wall? This is the artist’s first solo show with the gallery and a number of paintings are on display. His source material ranges from documentations of the past to lifestyle blogs and his works are carefully composed from a vide range of fragments.
