Who are you?

I’m Rami Hanna, 22 years old and work as a photographer and filmmaker who loves to laugh, food and music.

Where are you now, what are you wearing and what are you doing?

Right now I’m in my bed answering these interview questions, wearing shorts and a t-shirt and are soon going to make some french toast with syrup and bacon for breakfast-

Tell us about your show at Spy Bar this Thursday and the images we will see. Where are they from?

My show called ”Curious” is my very first exhibition with brand new pictures I’ve never shown. It’s a mix of photos that are shot on locations in Stockholm och some in a studio. With these pictures I hope to show a more artistic side of myself.

How did you end up shooting? Whats your background?

I’ve always had a passion for photography and since being a kid, always had a camera in my hands. I studied science in high school to become a architect because a lot of people told that the photographing business was hard. But in second grade of high school I started to shoot streetstyle on the streets Stockholm and started to get into the business. I quickly realized that this was where I belonged and worked my ass of to where I am now.

Was there a pivotal moment when you decided to follow your path as an photographer?

When I realized that working as a photographer would make my life more creative, that I would have my hobby as my full time job and that everyday would be different.

Your friends are some of the most famous influencers in Sweden, how did you end up in that crowd?

Working with social media and influencers helped gain clients and was a perfect way to show my work to a bigger crowd. Sometimes the people you work with become very close friends.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

It’s hard to pick one single person but I’ve always and will always love the work of photographing duo Mert & Marcus.

What is the top of your bucket list?

To visit Australia. Mostly because I love their accent.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Cheesecakes and chips in every form!

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?

For my dream dinner party I would invite Beyonce, Frank Ocean, Ellen Degeneres and Chelsea Handler. It would be dinner filled with great discussions, laughter and then we’ll all sing drunk karaoke in the end.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

That everything will work out, sooner or later.

Whats a typical day like for you?

I have two typical days. I’m either at the office working on my pictures, having meeting and planning for future jobs or I’m on set here in Stockholm or somewhere in the world shooting a campaign.

What are your ambitions and goals for the years to come on a professional level?

To work hard everyday, challenge myself with things I’ve never done before and always be kind to whoever I’m working with.

At last, why should we come to your show on Thursday night?

To have a great time, listen to some good old hiphop/rnb music and to have a look at the pictures I’ve been working on for weeks.
