The two artists Jesper Nyrén and Andreas Waldén know eachother since long and is originally from the same region. Andrew grew up in Västerås and Jesper in Sala and they became buddies with they ended up in the same art education 20 years ago. This is the first time they exhibit together, even though it has been a recurring topic of conversation for many years.
The two artists are quite similar in terms of the work. There is a lot about the inner life, and some kind of spiritual sense.
Both work abstract and geometric. Jesper Nyrén sets out a series of smaller paintings and larger paintings that bring a lot of light.
Jesper typically picks the impression of the landscapes in which he lives. He is influenced by the colour schemes and lighting conditions in the environment, he explains.
