Jesper Nyrén is a renowned name in the Swedish art scene. If you live in Stockholm you have probably seen some of his public works around the city. His latest piece is a 35 meter long glass wall along the facade of the New Karolinska Hospital's in Solna. Nyren is working with patterns, forms and fields. The show at Norrtälje Konsthall, consists of a long series of small paintings and photographs as well as a number of large abstract paintings in different ways are linked to vegetation and nature. In the exhibition, we come closer to nature on the basis of detailed studies of surfaces and colors in the landscape around the artist's studio.
